Maida L. Rogers

Asheville Maida Lee Bryson Rogers, 92, of Asheville Terrace Apartments, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at her residence. A native of Cullowhee, she had resided in the Asheville area since 1960. She was a 1938 graduate of Cullowhee High School and a daughter of the late Ransom Lee Bryson and Alice Evelyn Crawford Bryson. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Young and husband John and son, Dick Bryson all of Asheville; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Kilburg and Peggy Frazier; brother, David Bryson and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 3 P.M. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Cullowhee Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stephen V. Oxner officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M.
