Asheville - Maleta V. Harris, 80, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Laurels of Green Tree Ridge. A native of Swain County, Mrs. Harris had resided in Buncombe County since 1963. She retired from the spinning department of Burlington Industries. Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, Henry Harris, whom she married January 27, 1963; sister, Vinna Ball; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
