Margaret Nelson

Candler - Margaret Elizabeth Fordham Nelson, 69, of 21 Glencliff Road died Tuesday December 16, 2008 at the Memorial Campus. A native of Clinton, TN., she had lived in Buncombe County since 1965. She was a daughter of the late Lewis Sammaul Fordham and Eva Christine Snellings and the wife of the late Muriel Lee Nelson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenyon Nelson. Surviving are her son, Todd Nelson and wife Rachel of Candler; daughter, Cynthia Srijayanta and husband Michael of Candler; sister, Camellia Meridieth of Atlanta, GA and grandchildren, Andrew Gavin Nelson and Collin Lee Srijayanta. She was a devout Christian and a devoted mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Chuprevich officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
