Margaret Viola Riddle

Asheville - Margaret Viola Prather Riddle, 83, died Saturday November 4, 2006 after an extended illness. A native of Newport, TN, she had lived most of her life in Asheville. She was a daughter of the late Howard Allen and Sue Emmer Prather and wife of the late Robert Riddle. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Ball and son, John Allen Riddle. Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Wallace, Judy Pangle, Rebecca Riddle and Sandra Marler and husband Claude all Asheville. son, Ronnie Riddle and wife Rhonda of Canton; adopted son, Mike King of Asheville; sister, Mary Ruth Doty of Fairview, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 8 great, great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Sky View Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral home.
