Martha Ingle King

Asheville – Martha Ingle King, 75, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Laurels of Green Tree Ridge. A native and lifelong resident of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Myrtle Ingle. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, William King “Chub”; children: Randy King and wife Lisa, and Tammie Caldwell; and grandchildren: Colin King, Tyler Smith, and Taylor Smith. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Oak Hill UMC Cemetery, with Rev. Charlie Sams officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 till 2:30 PM on Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The King family would like to express their heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Laurels of Green Tree Ridge and Fourseasons Hospice for their care and compassion for Mrs. King.
