Martha K. Stafford

Asheville - Martha Ann Marie Kleibor Stafford, 61, of 115 Edgewood Road, died unexpectedly Saturday February 23, 2008. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe county, she loved going to the beach, convertibles and all types of music. She also loved cooking for crowds, giving parties, coaching t-ball and square dancing. Most of all, she loved her family. Martha never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went. She was the daughter of the late John Garfield and Lillian Viola Haney Kleibor and was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Stafford. Surviving are her husband, James Victor Stafford, Sr. of the home; daughter, Monica Sneed and husband Mike of Asheville; son, Vic Stafford of Asheville; brother, John Kleibor of Asheville and granddaughters, Mikell and Kaitie Sneed. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
