Martha Mae Tochterman

Asheville -Martha Mae Tochterman, 67, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Mae Tinsley Tochterman. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Michael Ellis; brother, Delbert Tochterman; and sister, Helen Bartlett.

Surviving are her son, Bryan Tochterman and wife Pamela; grandchildren: Bryan, Jr. (Rebecca), Jesse (Alex), Colby (Haley), Emileo, Ashley, Amber, and Kimberly; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Brentley, Everly, Corbin, Chase, Brooklyn, Sebastian, Zayleigh, Collin, Ashlynn, and Makailyn; sister, Brenda Thomas; and nieces and nephews: Michael Tochterman, Richard Bartlett, Tracy Bartlett, Steven Thomas, Candy Thomas, and Pam Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Rev. Daryl Overton will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 till 2 PM at the funeral home.
