Mary Frances Bishop

Leicester - Mary Frances Robinson Bishop, 87, of 136 Smith Road, died Friday, September 16, 2005 at Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center following a period of declining health. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Aaron Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late James Burgin and Mary Loretta Barclay Robinson, and the widow of James Clarence Bishop. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gwendolyn Jean Anderson. Surviving are her son, Charles E. Bishop of Leicester; her sister, Loretta Elizabeth Lib McClure of Leicester; four grandchildren: Patrice Reeves, Kevin Anderson, Robert Monty Anderson, and Daniel Anderson, all of Leicester; eight great grandchildren, and two great, great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Daniel Stephenson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
