Mary Inez Lunsford

Asheville - Mary Inez McLean Lunsford, 85, of 393 Weaverville Hwy. Died Sunday March 9, 2003 at the Mt. Area Hospice Solace Center after a period of declining health. A native of Madison County, she had lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mildred Bryan McLean. Surviving are her husband Harold George Lunsford of the home; Son, Steve McLean and wife Jeanie of Weaverville; Grandsons, Andy McLean and wife Pennie of Asheville and Nicholas McLean of Weaverville; Sister, Edna Parris of Greenville, S.C. and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Ebb Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
