Mary Rae Scarborough

Asheville - Mary Rae Scarborough, 68, of Apt 1 E Givens Estate died unexpectedly Wednesday September 22, 2004 at her residence. A native of Buncombe County, she had lived several years in California before returning to North Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Charles Norman and Annie Louise Smith Scarborough. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
