Melissa Ann Foster

Marshall Melissa Ann Foster, 29, of 1105 Cedar Cliff Road, died Tuesday - May 8, 2007 at her home. A native and resident of Buncombe County for most of her life, she had resided in Madison County for the past 2 months. She was a daughter of Janet Melissa Gates of the home and Robert Edward Foster and wife Donna Jean of Swannanoa. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tessia Rayann Plemmons. Surviving in addition to her parents are her daughter; sister, Melanie Foster of Marshall; half sister, Heather Foster of Swannanoa; brother, Robbie Foster and wife Dana of Candler; half brother, Brian Foster of Swannanoa; maternal grandmother, Joan Coffey of Murphy; maternal grandfather, Dale J. Gates of Murphy; four nieces, Andrea, Autumn, Haili and Desiree and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. C.J. Duvall and Rev. Austin Watts officiating. Burial will be in Hice Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
