Mike Beazley

Swannanoa Michael Dean Mike Beazley, 66, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at his residence. A native of Richmond, Kentucky, he had resided in Asheville for the past 33 years and was Owner & Operator of Beazleys All Service. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed making furniture. Mr. Beazley was a Vietnam War veteran, having served from 1964 to 1968 in the U.S. Air Force and was a recipient of the Bronze Star with V for Valor. He was the son of the late Earl Dean Walker Beazley and Emma Lillian Baker Beazley. Surviving are his former wife, Marge Beazley of Asheville; children, Michael Beazley Phillips of Chicago, IL, Misty Beazley and husband Ken McGarrie of Dallas, TX, Emma Beazley of Hilton Head Island, SC and Matthew Beazley of Asheville; the love of his life - his grandson, Laik Walker Beazley-Beach; sister, Dusty Allyn and husband Woody of Richmond, KY.
