Mildred Boyd Warren

Mildred Boyd Warren, 96, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Stone Creek Health and Rehab. Mrs. Warren was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She retired from Nu-Way Cleaners in 1982. She was the daughter of the late Burgin Wilburn and Mamie Benson Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Albert Warren who passed away in 1989; sisters: Nora, Edith, and Hazel; and brothers: James and Carl. Surviving are her sons: Kenneth Gerald Warren and his wife Patsy, and Eddie Lee Warren and his wife Elaine, all of Asheville; granddaughter, Robin Warren of Asheville; great grandson, Samuel Burchard of Hendersonville; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with a Eulogy by family friend, Tim Warren. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
