Nancy Noland

Candler – Nancy Noland, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Carepartners Solace Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Lesley Bryson and Gaye Elizabeth Evans Bryson, and wife of the late Robert Burton Noland, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her sons: Charles Thomas Noland, and Philip Wayne Noland; and two brothers. She had a passion for dancing from a young age that continued throughout her life.

A graduate of Lee Edwards High School, Mrs. Noland was part owner of Industrial Machine Service and also worked as a tax preparer with H&R Block for many years. She was a lifelong member of Abernethy United Methodist Church and current member of Edgewood Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Diane and husband Eddie, and Maurice; grandchildren: Cody (Kelli), Jessica (James), and Katie (Bryan); great-grandchildren: Amora, Daviane, Sevanté, and Kinsley; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Edgewood Baptist Church, 61 Moody Ave, Candler, NC 28715, with Pastor Keith Lindsay officiating. A private burial will be held at Gashes Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 till 6 pm at the church.
