Nickolas Gannon

Arden - Nickolas Gannon, 58, of 892 Glenn Bridge Road died accidentally on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. A native of Rockland County, NY he had resided in Buncombe County the past 17 years and was employed with Mission Hospital. Mr. Gannon was a son of the late George William and Julia Ryder Gannon. He was also preceded in death by his son, Timothy Gannon; sisters, Fredia Bishop and Julia Sisco and brother, Hebert Gannon. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Tonioli Gannon; daughters, Julia Bass and Amanda Gannon; sons, Christopher Gannon and Nickolas Gannon; sisters, Tillie Gannon and Tammie Kalokora; brothers, George Gannon, Jr., Angelo Gannon and Frank Gannon and 10 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 5 P.M. Sunday, January 2, 2011 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends following the service at Averys Creek Community Center.
