Otice Haynes Harrin Jr.

Leicester - Otice Haynes Harrin, Jr., 59, of 17 Dusty Lane, died unexpectedly Monday January 21, 2008 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a loving husband and father and the owner and operator of Otice Harrin Plumbing Co. He was a son of the late Otice Haynes Harrin, Sr. and Dora Jane McCurry Harrin. Surviving are his wife, Terry Bugg Harrin of the home; sons, Michael Black of Leicester, Ryan Black and wife Tara of Asheville, Christopher Harrin of Leicester and Jonathan Harrin and wife Lauren of St. Marys, GA; daughters, Jennifer Black of Asheville and Robyn Weber and husband John of Leicester; sister, Elizabeth Walker and husband Robert of Alexander; 3 grandsons, Jordan, Cameron and Sean Black; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Preacher Clarence Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
