Ozzy Jeovahany Bastardo-Jacinto

Ozzy Jeovahany Bastardo-Jacinto, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Caramount Health Center in Gastonia. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Ozzy was the son of Marcelo Bastardo of Mexico and Marisol Jacinto of Asheville. He is also survived by his wife, Alyna Alvarez of Asheville, and their son Dominick Josiah Bastardo-Alvarez. A funeral Mass will be held at 2 PM Friday, July 6, 2018 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 768 Asbury Road, Candler, with Father Dean Cesa officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 till 2 PM Friday at the church. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
