Patty Bean

Asheville Patty Louise Bean, 92, of 194 Pennsylvania Avenue passed away peacefully Monday, December 19, 2011 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Ms. Bean retired in 1982 from the Buncombe County Register of Deeds where she served as a Deputy Clerk. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the daughter of the late John Carlisle and Scotty Mell Dennis Bean. Surviving are her nephew, John Foster Bean and his family of Charlotte; several cousins including Mary Reeves Roper and Peggy Reeves Fugate both of Waynesville and former employer and special friends, Otto and Jackie DeBruhl of Asheville. Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Green Hills Cemetery with The Reverend Carol Hubbard officiating.
