Paul Pruitt

Asheville - Paul Pruitt, 74, of 1 Hickory Tree Road died Saturday August 13, 2005 at his home following a period of declining health. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, He was a son of the late Tom and Callie Bell Pruitt Surviving are his wife, Mary Elizabeth Shook Pruitt of the home; daughters, Janet Fox of Nashville, TN and Cindy Wright of Asheville; son, Larry Pruitt of Asheville; sister, Margaret Magahee of Greenville, SC; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
