Paul Ray Honeycutt, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, was born on May 4, 1956, in Gastonia, North Carolina. He entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Asheville, North Carolina, leaving behind a legacy defined by his unwavering devotion to family and faith.

For 26 dedicated years, Paul worked at Beacon Manufacturing, a role that not only sustained him but also exemplified his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. His colleagues and friends fondly remember him as a reliable and kind-hearted individual, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Paul's love for the Lord shone brightly in his life, guiding him through every experience and leading him to embrace the moments that mattered most. Paul served faithfully as a founding member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church on Oak Hill Drive in Asheville where he taught Sunday School Classes, sang in the choir, drove the bus, and helped in anyway he could. He was know by all to be caring and helpful. Above all, he adored his family. He spent 48 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Sandra Gail Mashburn Honeycutt, who was his partner in every sense of the word.

Together, they raised two children, Crystal Honeycutt Davis and her husband Jeremy, and Johnny Honeycutt, who brought immense joy and pride to Paul's life. As a grandfather, he found immeasurable happiness in his grandchildren: James, Andrew, and Ashley, who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.

Paul is also remembered for his bonds with his siblings: Ronnie Honeycutt and his wife Diane, Linda Harris and her husband James, and Sandra Tomberlin and her husband Jeff. Their shared memories and support brought him comfort throughout his life. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who were equally dear to him.

Paul's parents, Paul Honeycutt and Mary Sue Devinney Honeycutt, awaited him in heaven, where he was joyfully reunited with them.
