Pauline Martha Pyatt Walker, born on August 12, 1983, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. She leaves behind a poignant legacy that reflects her spirit and the love she shared with those fortunate enough to know her.
Pauline was known for her tough exterior, a characteristic that often masked the genuinely sweet, caring, and loving person within. Her personality was a tapestry woven with strength and kindness, making a profound impact on the lives of her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Linda Craig, who affectionately referred to Pauline as “Snap, Crackle, Pop.” In addition to Linda, Pauline is mourned by her loving brother, Jerry Pritchard; beloved nieces and nephews: T.J., Kayla, Zachary, Bristol, and Becky; along with many extended family members who will cherish her memory.
Pauline's life was shaped by the love of her parents, Troy Pyatt and Lola Kay Williams Pyatt, who have preceded her in death, as well as by her late husband, Silas Ray Walker; and her brother, Andy Pyatt.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date in Rutherfordton.
As we remember Pauline, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with warmth, laughter, and a genuine spirit. Her memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched, as we find comfort in the love she cultivated throughout her time with us.
