Phyllis Gail Taylor

Woodfin - Phyllis Gail Hollifield Taylor 54, of 44 Old Elk Mountain Rd. passed away Sunday, August 28, 2005 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Wendall and Ruby G. Doan Hollifield. She was a Private Duty CNA and attended West Asheville Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Donald Richard Don Taylor of the home; sons, Wendall Taylor and wife Anita of Asheville and Barry Taylor and wife Kristy of Asheville; three grandchildren, Madison, McKenna and Luke Taylor; brothers, Chris Hollifield and Keith Hollifield both of Asheville. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Bussey officiating. Burial will be in Elk Mountain Cemetery, Woodfin. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
