Richard F. Painter

Asheville - Richard Frederick Painter, 74, a beloved husband and wonderful father, passed to his Heavenly home on Saturday, February 28, 2009. He was the son of the late Fred and Bessie Painter and the brother of the late David Painter. Surviving are his wife, Mamie Waycaster Painter; daughter, Conda Painter of Asheville; and sister, Nancy Painter Hyatt and husband Locke of Asheville. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of West Asheville. No services are planned.
