Rita E. Garner

Asheville - Rita Emiley Garner, 83, died Saturday October 4, 2008 after a long illness. A native of Madison County, she was the wife of the late Charles Jason Garner. Surviving are her sisters; Pearl McDonald of Georgia, Roberta Abott of New York, Beauty Reemes of Asheville and Viola Balding of Detroit, Michigan. She will be missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will be in Redmond Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
