Robenia Smith Carter

Fletcher- Robenia Smith Carter, 68, of 47 Limestone Lane died Wednesday, August 1, 2001 at the Harris Reginal Hospital following a period of declining health. Mrs. Carter was a native of Buncombe County and had resided in Henderson County for the past 24 years. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Joe Carter of the home; daughters, Margaret Duncan and Linda Brookshire; sons, Bobby Carter, Billy Carter and Len Carter; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of friends from the local area including Asheville and Cherokee. No formal services are planned. in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, N.C. 28813. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
