Robert Carroll Mashburn Sr.

Asheville - Robert Carroll "Bob" Mashburn, Sr., 72, died Sunday July 10, 2011. A native of Haywood County, he had lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He was a son of the late Jesse Edmond and Pearl Rector Mashburn. Surviving are his wife, Frances Mashburn of the home; sons, Carroll Mashburn of Asheville and Tony Mashburn of Waynesville; daughters, Tammy Mashburn of Asheville and Annette Waldrup of Candler; step daughter, Sadie Black of Weaverville; brothers, Leon Mashburn and J.D. Mashburn; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 5:00 P.M. Saturday at Fairmont Baptist Church with Rev. David Hall officiating.
