Robert Couch

Asheville - Robert D. Couch, 63 of 77 Ramsey Road died Thursday November 6, 2003 at St. Josephs Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Harlan, Ky. he had lived in Buncombe County for the past 7 years and was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was a son of the late Harrison and Sallie Ann Lewis Couch. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Couch of the home; sons, John Linville and wife Jennifer of Portsmouth, VA. and Robert Bobby Couch of Baltimore, MD.; daughters, Patricia Spangler and husband Gary of Cumberland, MD., Vicky Taylor and husband Sean of Martinsburg, WV. and Monica Ramsey and husband Tim of Resaca, Ga.; sisters, Vesta Davenport of Leicester and Sudie Farmer of Asheville; brothers, Tony Couch of Leicester and James Couch of Baltimore, MD.; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his special pets Bear and Cody. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Georgetown Baptist Church with the Revs. James and Tim Ramsey officiating.
