Robert Junior "Bobby" Cannon

Asheville Robert Junior Bobby Cannon, 57, of 93 North Hill Road died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at St. Josephs Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. Mr. Cannon was a member of Calvary Church of God in Marshall and was formerly employed with Huntley Construction Company for 18 years and with Orangeburg Plastics. He was a son of the late Howard James Cannon and Irene Eloise Yarborough Cannon and was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Thomas Cannon and grandson, Christopher Parker. Surviving are his former wife, Patricia Ann Sherlin Cannon of the home; daughters, Sandra Cannon, Theresa Banks, Virginia Cannon, Elizabeth Dickinson, Michelle Dickinson and Traci Cannon; son, Lee Parker, Jr.; sister, Margaret Ann Allen of Asheville; brother, Charles Ray of Asheville; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
