Ronnie Dickinson

Asheville - Ronnie Thomas Dickinson, 51, of 9 Brookdale Road, died Saturday March 9, 2002 at Memorial Mission Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he had resided in Asheville most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter and attended Woodfin Church of God. He was a son of the late Curtis Ben and Virginia Eldora Gibson Dickinson. Surviving are his daughters, Elizabeth Dickinson of Weaverville and Michelle Dickinson and companion, David Engle of Asheville; step-daughters, Sandra Cannon, Theresa Cannon and Virginia Cannon all of Asheville and Tracie Cannon of Arden; brother, Gene Dickinson and wife, Audrey of Brooksville, FL and 13 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Dodson officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
