Roy Eugene Norton

Roy Eugene Norton, 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Mission Hospital.

Roy was a native of Franklin, NC. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked for American Enka (BASF) for over 30 years until his retirement.

He was the son of the late Manuel Lewis Norton and Ruby Hopkins Norton. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years of Julia Jane Foster Norton who died November 11, 2024; and sister, Lois Norton Rideout.

Surviving are his children: Cindy Norton, Tim Norton and wife Holly; grandchildren: Stefanie Norton, Samantha Norton, Cody Norton, Linda Norton, and Seth Peed; and great-grandchildren: Honor Sophia Norton, Fallon Walker, and Ledger Walker.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Tim Warren officiating.
