Samuel Hayes Robinson

Asheville - Samuel Hayes Robinson, 45, of 67 Virginia Avenue died Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center. A native of Buncombe County, he was employed by Wal-Mart and was an instructor for 23 years with Asheville Dance Theater. He was very accomplished in the field of dance as a performer and teacher. Mr. Robinson was the son of Doris Piercy Robinson of Asheville and the late Samuel Edward Robinson. Surviving in addition to his mother are his life partner, Tim Roth of the home; sister, Rebecca Robinson of Asheville; nieces, Charlene and Naomi; nephew, Robert. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Sunday at Abernethy United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rusty Inman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
