Samuel Wilson

Candler - Samuel Wilson, 88, of 282 Monte Vista Road died Thursday December 12, 2002 at the Hospice Solace Center. A native of Scotland, he came to the U.S. in 1930. He was a member of Acton United Methodist Church and was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was the husband of the late Lula Belle Medford Wilson. Surviving are his son, Andrew Wilson of the home; daughter, Margaret Margie Connelly of Asheville and granddaughter, Christy Michelle Wilson of Asheville. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Acton United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Hacklander officiating.
