Sandra Elizabeth Gaddy

Asheville - Sandra Elizabeth Capps Gaddy, 59, of 11 Honeysuckle Lane died Monday January 21, 2002 at St. Josephs Hospital after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe county, she was a member of Woodfin Baptist Church. She was a daughter of Ruth Marie Allen of Asheville and the late Lewis Edward Capps and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Marie Lambert. Surviving in addition to her mother are her daughters, Karen Lambert King of Asheville, Lisa Southerland Presley of Candler and Shanda Gaddy Lavine of Canton; sons, James F. Southerland of Pensacola, Fl. and Jonathan Richard Southerland of Asheville; brothers, William F. Capps and Lewis E. Capps, Jr. both of Candler; 7 grandchildren, Candice Marie, Kara Elizabeth, Jonathan Lewis, Tommy Lee, Andy Boyd, Mary Faye and Sara Ann. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Woodfin Baptist Church wit the Rev. Ricky Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M.
