Sandra Tolley

Alexander - Sandra Irene Sheppard Tolley, 54, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 17, 2010 at her home. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of Violet Sheppard of Alexander and the late Thad Charles Sheppard. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Sheppard. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Eugene Gene Tolley of the home; daughter, Anita Tolley of Leicester; son, Gene Tolley of Alexander; granddaughters, Rosa and Lili Chavez; sister, Pam Tochterman of Alexander; brother, Cecil Sheppard of Leicester and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs. Daryl Overton and John Warren officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
