Scott Freeman

Joseph Scott Freeman, 43, of Candler, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Scott was employed by Bill Walker Tire Company as a Service Manager. He was the son of Edith Ewart Freeman, and B.J. Freeman (Kay Ewart), all of Candler. In addition to his parents, surviving are his daughter, Lindsay Nicole Freeman; brother, Jonathan Freeman and wife Rhonda; niece, Rebecca Freeman; and maternal grandmother, Rosie Mae Ewart. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Allen Winebarger officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 9:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
