Serena Ann Sprouse

Alexander - Serena Ann Sprouse, 47, of 34 Trenton Drive, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She worked at Wolf Mountain Realty, Inc. Serena was a daughter of the late Lewis Martin Sprouse and Margaret Edna Mae Spivey Sprouse and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Randall and Bruce Sprouse. Surviving are her sister, Joyce Riebell & husband, Bill of Asheville; brother, Harold Sprouse & wife, Gloria of Alexander; several nieces & nephews including her niece Debbie Sprouse; many special friends including Cindy, Tim & Olivia Gaddy; godson, Christian Fisher and her Wolf Mountian Realty family. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Jo Anne Coates officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
