Shirley Williams Bryant

Asheville – Shirley Williams Bryant, 85, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021. She was a native of Asheville, and the daughter of the late Dennis Williams and Lucille Anglin Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, A.D. Bryant, Jr., US Navy retired. During his time in the Navy, Shirley and A.D. lived in several cities in California, Virginia and Florida. Also, preceding her in death are two daughters, Lois Jean Bryant and Donna Sue Bryant; and brothers, Dennis Eugene Williams and Raymond N. Williams. Shirley is survived by a brother, Bob Williams (Yvonne) of Mountain City, TN; sister, Joy Williams Edwards (Eddie) of Swannanoa and a sister-in-law, Betty Williams of Hamilton, NJ; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a great-great niece and a great-great nephew. A private graveside service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
