Sidney "Reese" Kingry

Tryon – Sidney “Reese” Maurice Kingry, 77, passed away on May 3, 2021 at the Memorial Mission Hospital, Asheville. A native of Atlanta, GA he was a son of the late Cecil Kingry and Mary Lou Booker. He was also preceded in death by his son, John Kingry; and sister, Frances Gibson. Reese was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for General Motors for 25 years until retirement. He enjoyed fishing and model trains. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Marlowe Kingry; son, Shawn Kingry and wife Kelly of Wilmington; daughter, Sabrina Kingry Guay of Douglasville, GA; granddaughters: Lacey Kingry and Ashley Guay; and numerous nieces and nephews. A service to remember and celebrate Reese’s life will be held privately at a later date.
