Steven ODell Steve Estep, 51, of Candler, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a 1982 graduate of Enka High School. Steve retired from the Forestry Department at the Biltmore Estate and was the owner of Steves Remodeling. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, his dog Tanner, and riding his Harley. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bill Harwood. Surviving are his mother, Mary Estep Jones; father, Charles Estep; wife, Debra Estep; daughter, Leah Evans and husband Jeremy Harris; grandsons: Trent Evans, Tyler Evans, and Matthew Brooks; sisters: Cathy Haynes and husband Eddie, and Mary Lou Styles and husband Gary; brother, Chuck Estep and wife Joanne; mother-in-law, Georgia Harwood; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Edgewood Baptist Church, with Rev. Louis Gibson officiating. The family will receive for 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: Edgewood Baptist Church, 61 Moody Ave, Candler, NC 28715.
