Susan Howell Guy

Troup, TX Susan Marie Howell Guy, 54, of Troup, TX, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Buncombe County, she had resided in Texas for the past 3 years before returning to Asheville. She was the daughter of Betty Capps Howell of Asheville and the late Frank Osburn Howell. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her sons: Mitchell Hensley and wife Danielle and Brandon Guy, all of Asheville; grandchildren: Angel and MacKenzie Hensley; sisters: Joyce Raines of Asheville and Janice Fish of Fletcher and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 PM Monday at Friendship Baptist Church, with the Rev. Daryl Overton officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the church. Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family. The family wishes to express a special thanks to CarePartners Solace Center for their care.
