Terri Lynn Rice

Terri Lynn Rice, 54, of Weaverville, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Terri was a daughter of the late James D. Jim Rice and Beatrice Bea Rice. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Ryan Noland; brother-in-law, Oscar Lee Poochie Corn; and niece, Joni Kaye Parker. Terri was a caregiver for many years and loved baking and cooking. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Asheville, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Sebrena Nash of Asheville; grandson, Matthew Nash of Leicester; brother, James D. Jimmy Rice (Claire) of Atlanta, GA; sisters: Joyce Rice Corn of Hendersonville, Pat Ogle (Phillip) of Swannanoa, and Susie Curtis (Kevin) of Mills River; a special friend, Tommy Branch of Weaverville; her beloved pet, Buddy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 754 Aiken Rd, Asheville, NC 28804, with Rev. Larry Oliver officiating. The public is invited. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the family.
