Terry Eugene Parker

Weaverville - Terry Eugene Parker, 46, of 185 Upper Herron Cove Road, died Monday December 3, 2001 at Memorial Mission Hospital after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was employed by Charles D. Owen Mfg. He was a son of John Moore and Christine Anderson Parker of Marion. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Marlene Elizabeth Redmon Parker of the home; sons, John William Parker and Eric Eugene Parker both of the home; sisters, Marla Perry of Marion and Wilma Devin of Old Fort; brothers, Mike Parker of Swannanoa, Jerry Parker of Mills River and Jackie Parker of Fairview and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Ward officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Cora Redmon, 8 Redmond Dr. in Alexander.
