Thad Austin

West Asheville Thad Wesley Mountain Man Austin, 35, of 12 Central Avenue passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008. A native of Buncombe County. He attended Enka High School. Thad was a son of Geraldine Austin and John Austin & his wife, Margaret. Surviving in addition to his parents are his finacee Tonya Michales & son, Adam; sister, Christina Hyder and brother, John Austin. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Chaplain George Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 Friday at the funeral home.
