Thomas Anthony "Tommy" Jones

Asheville Thomas Anthony Tommy Jones, 41, of 19 Allen Street passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Wake County Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Tommy was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, 1983 graduate of Asheville High School and was a former Automobile Mechanic and Landscaper. Surviving are his parents, Thomas Edward and Virginia Ann Rogers Jones of Asheville; daughters, Katherine Memory Jones of Charlotte and Patricia Ann Jones of Asheville; sisters, Melanie Jones and Alison Jones both of Asheville; brothers, Capt. Courtney Jones, USMC stationed in Iraq and Charles Jones, USMC Ret. of Asheville; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 4 PM Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church with the family receiving friends immediately following services at the church.
