Thomas Matthew Henderson

ASHEVILLE Thomas Matthew Henderson, 51, of 7 Pisgah View Ave. passed away Friday, November 24, 2006. He was a longtime resident of Buncombe County and the son of Lois Carolyn Murray Henderson of Leicester and the late Robert Thomas Henderson. He was a 1973 graduate of Clyde A. Erwin H.S. and was a veteran of the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars. He retired June 30, 1993 following 20 years of service with the U.S. Air Force where at the time of his retirement was a Computer Programmer. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Jennie Henderson of the home; sons, Brandon M. Henderson of Boone and Shaun D. Henderson and wife, Christina of Seaside, CA; brother, Terry A. Henderson and wife, Randy of Leicester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 6 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. David Lunsford and Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
