Thomas Stamey

Candler - Thomas Stamey, 48, of Candler, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010. A native of Parris Island, SC. He had resided most of his life in Candler. He was a Brick and Block Mason and a member of West Asheville Baptist Church. Mr. Stamey was the son of the late Charles Edward Stamey and Hilda Stamey Haackinson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Irma Jean Stamey abd father-in-law, Robert Burrell. Surviving are his wife, Triena Burrell Stamey, son, Thomas Harland Stamey,III, daughter and son-in-law, Tamera and Bobby Davis, grandsons, Colten and Carson Davis, sisters, Mary Ann Miller and Rebeca Kay Stepp, brother, Charles Edward Stamey, Jr., mother-in-law, Patricia Burrell. Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 12 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. John Brendell officiating.
