Tyrus Todd

Asheville - Tyrus Todd, 87, died Thursday, December 25, 2003 at Beverly Health Care Center. A native of Toccoa, Georgia. He had resided in Asheville for most of his life.. He was a veteran of W.W.II, serving his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Todd was a son of the late Coke Daniel and Alma Camp Todd and was also preceded in death by a sister and five brothers. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. C.W. Anthony officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
