Vera Mae Hodge

Asheville - Vera Mae Gilliland Hodge, 92, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Asheville Health Care Center. A native of Henderson County, Ms. Hodge was the daughter of the late Luther Vance and Ada Mae Marie McGaha Gilliland. She was also preceded in death by a son, Calvin Vance Gilliland. Surviving are her children: Betty Rollins of Fletcher and Vance Davis of Washington; five grandchildren; and special friend, Polly Hensley. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
