Viola Allen Marshall

Asheville - Viola Allen Marshall, 86, died Thursday December 26, 2002 at Emerald Ridge Rehab and Care Center. She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was a member of Oakley Free Will Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late James Andrew and Maude Holcombe Allen and wife of the late Rev. George A. Marshall. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Surviving are her brother, Rev. James A. Allen and wife, Geri of Asheville; sister-in-law, Mozelle Allen of Arden and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Frank Hopkins officiating.
