Viola Smith "Nannie" Cole

Asheville - Viola Nannie Smith Cole, 99, of Roberts Road went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday - March 4, 2008. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the wife of the late George Cole. She was also preceded in death by brother, Cleotis Smith; daughters, Marguerite Roberson Worley and Georgie Kemp. Surviving are her grandson, Steve Roberson and wife Sharon; great grandchildren, Crystal Daniel Ball and Chad Stephanie Roberson and great great grandson Brayden Roberson. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ricky Townsend. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
